Kinect Starwars
I grew up with Star Wars, so when the chance to work on a Xbox 360 game set in the Star Wars universe came up I jumped on it. Kinect Star Wars was a game made with the Kinect motion controller in mind. I worked on two game modes, Rankor and Speeder.
In Rankor mode you are a giant creature on a rampage in urban centers. You control the creature with the Kinect and attempt to destroy buildings and vehicles to gain points. You can even pick up people and throw or eat them! It is a lot of fun. I setup the buildings destruction events and triggers for the various effects that are played when they are broken. It was a fun challenge to make things break in a realistic manner.
In Speeder mode you fly a speeder with a group of other rebels while trying to avoid being shot down or crashing. This was one of my favorite sequences in The Empire Strikes Backe and it was a lot of fun working on levels for this game mode. I did a lot of work on the Felucia level. I setup the materials for all of the vegetation in a system similar to that used within Unreal. I setup the giant forest and the bases along the way including the massive base at the end of the level. This was a lot of fun, creating a "honey I shrunk the kids" style world with speeder bikes and missles and all sorts of great stuff.
